La Asociación Hondureña de Pequeños Productores de Energía Renovable (AHPPER), Central American Bank for Economic Integration (BCIE) through Project Accelerating Renewable Energy Investment in Central America and Panama (ARECA) and the United Nations Development Program ( UNDP), have formed a strategic alliance with the goal of completing training sessions on the issue of Renewable Energy in various parts of the country

As part of "Energy Expo 2009", was attended by the Honduran Association of Small Producers of Renewable Energies (AHPPER), represented by Eng Elsia Peace as a lecturer in the program, with the theme "Hydroelectric Projects in Honduras and Central America, "making a full presentation on hydroelectric projects operated by the partnership while the barriers to its implementation at the various institutions.
 

Welcome Message

The objective of the Asociacion Hondureña de Pequeños Productores de Energía Renovable (AHPPER) is to support initiatives oriented to overcome the obstacles that restrict the development of these projects, such as its use in the country's legal framework as well as funding opportunities for them.

The AHPPER works with governments, business, industry, financial institutions and civil society to promote development of renewable energy projects in the country.

This website is designed to inform users of the AHPPER disseminating information and awareness training on renewable energy and energy efficiency, through seminars, conferences, workshops, publications and educational campaigns that are conducted.

We hope this tool will become an active part in their work and through the community portal can become part of the AHPPER growing network of organizations and individuals interested in the growth, development and accelerated deployment of renewable and energy efficiency technologies and systems.
